Franklin Township operates a full-time Police Department, consisting of three full-time officers and six part-time officers. Their office is currently located in the back office of the Township's Road Maintenance Garage, located at 900 Fairyland Road. Their goals are to provide effective, courteous, and professional services to the residents and businesses of our community. The Police Department handles all police related calls, enforces the Township Ordinances and traffic laws. In an effort to keep Franklin Township a safe and pleasant place to live and work, the Police Department advises Township Residents to report any crimes, criminal mischief, or any suspicious activities to the non-emergency telephone number at 1-570-325-9111 or (911) in case of a life threatening emergency. In addition, it is very important that your house number be displayed clearly, in order for the police, fire, and ambulance to locate your home easily in the event of an emergency.
