Franklin Township's Parks & Recreation
The Franklin Township Advisory Recreation & Parks Board was created in 2004. The Board is made up of five township residents appointed by the Board of Supervisors. This Board was formed to advise the Board of Supervisors of any problems that may occur at the recreational areas that are located in Franklin Township and to enforce Ordinance 2004-03 which states the rules and regulations of the recreational facilities owned by the Township. The Advisory Recreation & Park Board meets on an as needed basis.
Phifer's Ice Dam Park Reservation Information:

The Daniel Lesher Pavilion at Phifer Ice Dam Park is available to rent for private events on a first-come, first-served basis. Reservations are secured upon receipt of the required deposit. To check availability or reserve the pavilion, contact the Franklin Township Administration Office at (610) 377-1773 during normal business hours.

The pavilion is an ideal location for family reunions, birthday parties, graduation celebrations, and similar gatherings. The enclosed dining area seats up to 72 guests at provided picnic tables, with additional outdoor seating available for larger events.

The kitchen includes a triple-bowl commercial sink, refrigerator, two electric ranges, microwave, and ample space for food preparation and serving. A convenient serving window connects the kitchen and dining area.

The enclosed dining and kitchen facilities may be reserved with a $100 security deposit and a rental fee of $175.

While pavilion renters have use of the pavilion facilities, reserving the pavilion does not provide exclusive use of the entire park. Other visitors may be using the playground, and scheduled activities such as baseball games may also be taking place during your event.
